ABOUT US
More Than Training. A Movement Towards Preparedness.
Anubandha First Aid Academy (AFAI) was born from a simple but urgent observation:
During emergencies, most people want to help…
but freeze because they do not know how.
We believed that life-saving knowledge should not remain confined to hospitals or specialists alone. It should exist in homes, workplaces, schools, communities, and everyday life.
AFAI was therefore created not merely as a training organisation, but as part of a larger vision:
to build a culture of preparedness, confidence, and responsible action.
Our programs are rooted in the belief that effective emergency response is not built through fear or memorisation alone, but through:
-
practical experience,
-
behavioural understanding,
-
repeated hands-on learning,
-
communication,
-
and confidence under pressure.
This philosophy shapes every workshop, simulation, drill, and educational initiative conducted by AFAI.
WHY “Anubandha” ?
The name Anubandha is inspired by the ancient Indian concept of Anubandha Chatushtaya — a framework centred around meaningful learning and purposeful understanding.

The philosophy explores the relationship between:
-
the learner,
-
the subject,
-
the purpose,
-
and the connection between knowledge and action.
This philosophy forms the foundation of AFAI’s educational approach.
We believe effective emergency response training must go beyond memorisation and certification. It must build:
-
competence,
-
confidence,
-
clarity under pressure,
-
and the ability to act responsibly during real-world crises.
At AFAI, this principle continues to guide our educational philosophy.
We believe knowledge becomes meaningful only when it can be applied responsibly in real-world situations, especially when lives are at stake.
#THELIFESAVINGMOVEMENT
#TheLifeSavingMovement is AFAI’s long-term mission to create a society where emergency preparedness becomes a shared social responsibility.
Our vision is ambitious:
A trained responder in every family, workplace, institution, Hospitals/Nursing-homes, and community.
Because when emergencies occur, the first few minutes often determine outcomes.
And in those moments, ordinary people can become life-savers.
