Anubandha First Aid Academy (India) LLP (AFAI) creates self-assured First Responders in India by training them in the necessary skills. When there is a crisis, these First Responders become LIFESAVERS rather than bystanders or onlookers.
The training teaches you how to help people without harming them. It is critical because an untrained bystander may unknowingly cause harm due to a lack of knowledge and awareness of the life-saving technologies.
AFAI teaches anyone and everyone the fundamentals of saving a life without complicating matters. It aspires to create a fleet of lifesavers that the nation can be proud of and rely on in times of emergency!!!
WHY “Anubandha” ?
Anubandha Chatushtaya literally means four connections.
Anubandha Chatushtaya addresses the following preliminary questions regarding any text/subject matter of study so that one may decide whether one wants to (or can) study it!
तत्र अनुबन्धो नाम अधिकारिविषयसंबन्धप्रयोजनानि |
Meaning - "The preliminary questions of the any Subject matter under study are determining the competency of:
-
the student,
-
the subject-matter,
-
its connection with the book and
-
the necessity of for its study."
Anubandha Chatushtaya is a traditional Indian rhetorical mode associated with the acquisition of knowledge and perfection, which mode is based on four major aspects of thought and action, working in tandem and therefore is four-fold in nature and content.
Adhikāra is the capacity to study (adhyayana) the subject-matter in which respect there exist doubts/queries (sandigdhata) which is the basis of the intended inquiry into that subject-matter for the eventual removal of all doubts and gain of its proper understanding.
Vishaya is the object of knowledge, here the subject-matter
Prayojana means - the 'purpose', 'end result' or 'resolution of the inquiry'; it is the established result arrived at after practice, conducted with a peaceful mind and body.
Sambandha is the relation of what must be made known between the vishaya and the prayojana.
Anubandha First Aid Academy (India), intends to create LIFE-SAVERS in every home/ office/ area of transit/ hospital/ nursing home in the country.
This Basic First Aid Training is completely based in & on these four-fold connections of the Anubandha Chatushtya and is stringently followed by the organisation and its teachers, as is the motto - THE LIFE SAVING MOVEMENT that they have undertaken and dedicated their lives to.
